Hi! Sorry for being MIA. I had my second kid in November, and even though my husband and I are making a lot of stuff, I either didn't take pictures of just haven't posted stuff I do have.
Christmas morning, we made green waffles and made this:
I've seen on pinterest just laying out the squares, but my husband wanted to make it stand up. So he did. I liked it.

I do not take credit for the recipe! But I got a lot of compliments from guests from Costa Rica. I really wanted to make this for my toddler and for my nephew who was coming that morning. They both seem to love waffles and berries!
For the food coloring, I just used blue and mixed in a little yellow to the batter. As you can see though, especially on the bottom waffles, I didn't put enough food coloring. So it's safe to say you can go into a really dark forest green color when mixing it.
